WOW! Wonderful insight yet again! I can tell you that I "freak out" when I lose more than a few hairs in the shower. I remember calling my sister & asking her if it's "normal". Turns out, certain times in our lives, it is! I can't imagine what it's like to wake up every day wondering if "today's the day". I know, hair's not important. But, just the not knowing. Know what I mean?

I have to share my reality check for the day. Mine was that I AM truly blessed beyond measure. My husband helps once a month at church to deliver furniture to Madison-area people who have requested assistance from our church. Today, he delivered in an area not all that far from us. The difference between where we live & where they live is night & day. Truly, night and day.

But, the even sadder thing was that he visited a woman who was totally blind in one eye & nearly blind in another. Why? For 4 years she has been with a man who beats her. He is now incarcerated. She has resources to leave, but, won't. She lives a life I cannot fathom. Honestly, my life is tough at times. I have gone through some trials. But, I'm so secure in many things. Above all else, I have Jesus. I mean, WOW! My heart aches for her & those just like her.

Well, I don't know what kind of hair you have, but mine is presently brown, long, and pretty curly. Thus I don't brush it when it is dry unless I want a SUPER frizzy hairdo. So, when I brush my hair after a shower I'm always stunned that I still have any hair left. I loose tons of hair to my brush and the bathtub drain daily.
Thanks for the reminder that it's not my "job" to think for God. He hasn't stepped off His thrown and begun to wring His hands in worry. No, He is still God, and thankfully I'm not.
